Avis Forklift Centre was established in 1970, and initially started with 2 forklifts in the rental fleet. The first field service vehicle was a split screen Kombi probably better suited to surfer dudes!

THEN (1972) and NOW (2010)

Avis Forklift Centre is well recognised as a pioneer in the forklift rental industry. Focus back then was on short term rentals and with substantial growth and focused strategies the company now handles the entire spectrum of materials handling equipment. We have perfected the art of forklift rental in South Africa & our infrastructure is geared toward providing our valued clients with a cost effective solution.

Avis Forklift Centre will provide excellence in forklift hire, forklift sales, transport solutions and sidelifter facilities, nurture our staff's dreams and abilities, act with honour and responsibility in the practice of our business and assist with the upliftment of our Rainbow Nation
