Forklift Service and Repairs
We service and repair all makes and models of forklifts.
If you currently own your own forklifts you will be well aware how difficult it is to find a good, honest and reliable repair company to attend to the servicing and repairing of your forklifts. For over 50 years our service division has been servicing and repairing all makes and models of forklifts. Our highly trained technicians have many years of experience in repairing gas, petrol, diesel, and battery powered forklifts.
Forklift Rentals
Long term and short term full maintenance rental of forklifts from 1.5t to 12t. With or without operators.
We are able to supply our customers with a wide variety of forklifts from our rental fleet with varying capacities (1.5 tons to 12 tons) and mast lift heights for any range of applications and uses. If you need a forklift for a short period of time or for longer periods we are here to provide the ideal solution for you!
If you need a driver to operate the forklift – we will provide you with a qualified forklift driver. If you would rather have one of your drivers operate the forklift – we will provide you with driver training.
Container Lifts / Sidelifters (Self-loading Trailers)
The transport division, Avis Container Lift, now has a fleet of Sidelifters (self-loading trailers) which are able to lift and transport both 20ft (6m) and 40ft (12m) shipping containers. Avis Container Lift can lift up to 36 ton containers using their Steelbro Side lifter, transfer it to a waiting trailer, to a rail wagon and stack your containers two high.
Customers now have the convenience of receiving containers on the ground instead of on top of a trailer that usually has to be left in the customer’s premises while packing or unpacking the container. With the container on the ground, the customer will be able to drive a forklift in and out of the container making loading and unpacking much easier and safer. We recently did a trial project at a scrap dealer and managed to move five containers per day, where they originally were only moving two per day.
