We offer the following types of forklifts for hire:

    • Internal Combustion Engine Forklift
This forklift is one of the most commonly used items of materials handling equipment. It is highly flexible and can be used for many purposes in warehouses, in factories, on building sites or in yards. Typical uses include: loading and unloading trucks, transporting pallets, storage of pallets in block stacks, storage of pallets in rack and general maintenance work. They are usually fueled by diesel, petrol or LP gas.
    • Electric Forklifts
The electric forklift is powered by an electric battery and is a commonly used item of materials handling equipment. It is highly flexible and can be used for many purposes in warehouses and in factories. Typical uses include: loading and unloading trucks, transporting pallets, storage of pallets in block stacks, storage of pallets in rack and general maintenance work. It is commonly used indoors. Many different forklifts are available for different handling applications. These may vary as follows:
    • Stackers
Stackers are one of the most commonly used for the storage of pallets in warehouses. It is ideally suited to operate efficiently at good space utilisation and high efficiencies.
    • Three Wheeler Counter Balance
Made for longer distance travel and operation in restricted floor space, which requires a tight turning radius aided by the single rear wheel.
    • Four Wheeler
Used to move loads for extended distances and in standard-width storage aisles for put away and picking up racks of various heights.
    • Reach Trucks
Reach trucks are one of the most commonly used industrial trucks for the storage of pallets in warehouses. The reach truck is ideally suited to operate efficiently at good space utilisation and high efficiencies. As reach trucks have solid small wheels they are only suited to indoor applications where floors are fairly good.
    • Pallet Trucks
    • The Powered Pallet Truck: Commonly used inside warehouses for transporting pallets. The ride behind powered pallet truck is fast and provides a highly efficient method of moving pallets.
    • The Hand Pallet Truck: Commonly used inside warehouses for transporting pallets. It is suited to handling low volumes and relatively low weights.
    • Rough Terrain Forklifts
Ruggedized for outdoor conditions and difficult surfaces. They can be used to transport goods between a storage yard and a warehouse.
    • Teletrucks
Used to save time when loading and unloading vehicles, containers etc. Because of the boom arm you can load from one side of the vehicle. There is less travel around vehicles etc. and so also much safer. Visibility when using a Teletruck has also been improved with the arm on the side instead of infront of the driver.

    • Attachments
There are various kinds of attachments that can be fitted on a forklift depending on the application. Please see all attachments available:
    • Paper Roll Clamps
360 degree rotating paper roll clamp for vertical and horizontal handling of single rolls.
    • Pulp Bale Clamps and Waste paper bale clamps
Commonly used for handling pulp bale in the paper industry. It is also used for cotton, wool, fabrics, tabacco and other similar products.
    • Sideshifters and Fork Positioners
A useful addition to the forklift truck, with a vast range of uses. The fork positioner is a hydraulic attachment that moves the tines together or apart. This means that the operator of the forklift does not have to get out to adjust the tines manually.
    • Multi Pallet Handlers
Single / Double pallet handler for handling one or two pallets. These models offer the possibility to lift pallets on both sides, either one or two at a time.
    • Carton Clamps
Used in the white ware industry and for high volume carton handling.
    • Rotators
This attachement allows the tines to be rotated. This devise aids the handling of skids that have become markedly tilted as well as any other speciality materials handling needs. It may also be used for dumping containers for quick unloading.
